“A personalized portrait is a unique, lifelong treasure”

A Standard Portrait Commission – this includes self portraits, portraits of loved ones/family members.  For this kind of commission, I will either paint from an existing photo of good quality or I will take a series of photos of the sitter (included in the price of the commission).  All paintings are done on stretched canvas using oil paint.

Portrait Size and Price: Clients generally choose from the standard-size canvases listed below.  However, if you prefer a larger canvas or have a non-standard shape in mind, please contact me for more details.  Standard Canvas Sizes:

• 11″ x 14″             $550.00
• 16″ x 20″           $650.00
• 18″ x 24″           $750.00 ( $100 for  additional figure)
• 24″ x 36″          $850.00 ( $100 for  additional figure)

*  $100 will be added to the base price of the portrait for each additional figure in the painting.

Fees and Payment Schedule: My fee is paid in two parts.

• 30% is paid after the first consultation, upon signing of a contract, and covers initial material costs and labour.
• The full balance of 70% is due upon delivery of the completed painting.
